HBO partnered with MATTE to launch The Penguin, Max’s newest HBO Original Limited Series, by transforming NYC into Gotham. A phased strategy drew fans into the gritty world of Gotham, building excitement through strategic alliances with iconic figures of the real NYC underworld like Emilio Vitolo, Casa Magazines, New York Nico, Scarr’s Pizza, and the San Gennaro Festival.
For two weeks, Gotham took over NYC, driving fans to engage across the city and building anticipation for the premiere episode of The Penguin on HBO.
